Papamoa Realty Ltd is owned and operated by Doug and Sherrill Morris, residents of Papamoa since 1981 when Papamoa's population was 1900. Doug commenced his Real Estate career with Challenge Realty at Mount Maunganui in 1988, Sherrill at that stage was a data Processor and Systems Co-ordinator for Challenge Realty's North Island accounting division based at Tauranga. Events led to the formation of Papamoa Realty Ltd in 1991 at its present location. Becoming a member of The Professionals Real Estate Group, provided excellent support for training, referrals and new ideas.

Child Cancer Foundation
The child cancer foundation is a non-profit organisation that provides much needed emotional and financial assistance to families of children living with cancer. Formed by a group of parents and health professionals, the foundation receives no government funding and therefore relies heavily on support from the public and corporate organisations.

The Professionals have been proud supporters of The Child Cancer Foundation since 1995 and have raised over $1.6 million. These funds have gone toward much needed facilities throughout New Zealand, contributing to The Family Place in Auckland and fully purchasing The Family Place in Wellington and two Sunshine Lodge Holiday Homes in Taupo and Queenstown.

The Sunshine Lodges give children and their families a chance to spend some time together and regain strength after the intense emotional time surrounding the, often long, periods of treatment. The Lodges are offered free of charge and the families receive vouchers, kindly donated by business in the area, to see the sites and enjoy local activities.

The Family Places give family and friends of children living with cancer a restful environment away from the hospital atmosphere. Here they can meet others facing the same trauma and gather information on issues of childhood cancer. It also gives children living with cancer and their siblings an environment to relax and play.
